Happy 2011, lovelies! Spent most of my day with the family today attending New Year's Day Mass, going for Dim Sum, and visiting my grandmother. Despite the gloomy, wet weather, I'm appreciative of the mild temperature. It was 10 degrees Celsius earlier!! My outfit is super-simple today: white tee + leggings + boots + jacket (an outfit formula that I adopt when I'm running late..and yes, I was very late waking up).

The year 2010 is wrapping up and it's time for a fresh start. Listening to this track on repeat this morning and I've decided that the tone of this song will carry my personal mantra on appreciating what God has given me and be truly happy with all of it.

Hey dolls! Called up my sweet cousin, Michelle to join my siblings and I, for a furniture-shopping mission @ Pier 1, Bombay Company and Urban Barn. A few things caught my eye and snapped a few pictures for memory's sake. Really into the quilted sofas, chairs and headboards. Colour palette is veering towards white, cream and black. We'll see how this all comes out! Oh, and my new move-in date is April 1st, 2011.

What makes you happy this season? For me, the list would include all the things that provide comfort and those that remind me of loved ones. So far today, I've dedicated most of the morning and afternoon playing with Pudge and taking on a serious game of Monopoly with my sister in my fleece snowflake PJs and my favourite Charlotte Russe booties.
